Description
Our Company is looking for a Millwright Fitter, who is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of 4-5 people.
- Work preparation and execution by the best industry practices and safety regulations.
- Safe execution of the work assigned by the Foreman related to the erection of static and rotating equipment.
- Cooperate with the riggers to choose appropriate lifting devices in compliance with the mechanical and vendor drawings.
- Perform elevation and coordinate checks, preparation of lifting surfaces, and shimming at the given elevation.
- Perform pre and final alignment of motors-pumps.
- Perform verticality checks and produce reports.
- Perform flanges parallelism.
- Flange cleaning and preparation, proper bolting sequence, and application of required torque values, if applicable by the specification.
- Identify temporary gaskets and spades installed on equipment nozzles and report production.
Qualifications
- Relevant work experience minimum 3-5 years. CV with a detailed list of completed projects required.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of dimensional calculations, coordinates and elevations.
- Knowledge of alignment tools like level gauges, opt align, or similar alignment instruments.
- Knowledge of general bolting procedures.
- Familiarity with optical level and equipment internals.
Education
English level – B1 or A2 plus some technical language skills are required.
